It’s so nice to meet you!

It’s pronounced ‘beer-get’ - like ‘get a beer’, but backwards

I’m Birgit DeVae

With me, you get more than a photographer - you get a fun-loving, loyal friend who’s here to grow with your family and capture every moment along the way. I’m here for the long haul! I have a family of my own, so I know what it’s like to get swept up in the blur of day-to-day life. But through it all, we’re experiencing some truly magical moments - and I want to help you remember them with raw authenticity and honesty.

I’m guessing you’re here because you know how fast time goes, and you know how easy it is to miss precious little memories amongst the craziness of life. I’d love nothing more than to help you immortalize those fleeting moments, so you can look back on them in the years to come.

get to know me a little better

There’s something so magical about being able to capture a memory in perfect detail.

why I do what I do

After launching my first business, a children’s clothing brand called Johnny Banana Co, I completely immersed myself in the world of photography. I always dreamed of doing my own product shoots, but somewhere along the way, I realized how much I loved capturing people, memories and moments.

I’m a mama to two boys and a fur baby, and a wife to an incredible man. My family means everything to me, and I never want to forget the beautiful, messy, chaotic moments we experience together. Life goes way too fast, but photography helps to slow it down. It lets us freeze those little moments in time, so we can relive the magic again and again. I’m here for these moments - your moments.

Photography has always been a part of who I am. I started off modeling in front of the camera when I was younger, and moved behind the lens as I grew up.
